Workshops according to the sub-activity of 10.1 were held on 28
January to 08 February, 2009 at Sylhet, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal,
Khulna and Dhaka. The workshop is mainly directed towards
governmental, local and municipality civil servants and executives
from those major cities of Bangladesh. NGOs/CBOs activities,
individuals, working in the MSW management also participated.
The content
of the training modules were developed based on the specific demand
stated before with respect to LDACs conditions.
During the
project the partner universities focused their efforts on the
elaboration of the training modules. They developed the modules as
well as the didactical and technical implementation concept. The
documentation basis for the learner consists of paper-based, linearly
arranged and thematically co-ordinated learning modules (text, figure
and chart).In these workshops programme, experts from home and aboard
and local participants gave their presentation and shear their
experiences. Workshop programme started on 28 January 2009 and first
workshop was held on 29 January 2009 at Sylhet, then Chittagong, same
way Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna and these programme ended at 07 February
at Dhaka. |

The 3rd
Regular Project Meeting was held on 10–14 May 2009 at the
Faculty of Environment Engineering, Lublin University of Technology (LUT),
Poland. The complete schedule (Appendix 1) of the events was sent to
all concerned well before for information and necessary measures.
The project meeting mainly concerned on
the discussion of the project report stated by the project coordinator
and the team members, the existing log
frame and its necessary revision, the description, present status and
future planning of all project activities. In the meeting emphasis was
given to make a time-frame for the successful completion of all
project activities with the tenure of this project i.e. December 31,
2009. |
